Bangladesh International School and College celebrated the Victory Day on 16 December 2023, commemorating the ultimate victory in our Liberation War in 1971. To celebrate the victory day in a befitting manner, a march past was conducted which took place for the first time in the history of BISC. Special prayers were conducted for the martyred heroes and for peace and advancement of the nation.

This celebration was graced by the presence of Major Waqar, Bir Pratik, who fought like a hero in the Liberation War and has a major contribution in our freedom. He narrated his stories of bravery during the war and the audience was mesmerised by his inspiring speech. A colourful cultural program was also organised which displayed dance, song, poem and speech by the students. Students who topped the merit list were awarded including the Best Student of the Year 2023.

The Victory Day symbolizes the triumph of justice over tyranny. We hope that the sacrifices made by the martyrs will act as a perennial source of inspiration for our students to work for the country.
