The joy of travel lies in exploring new things. Hence, Bangladesh International School and College organized a study tour for Class VI students to Lalbagh Fort, a captivating historical site in Dhaka, on 17th February 2024.

 

It was a pleasant spring morning, and students delved into the history, culture, and heritage of the Mughal dynasty in old Dhaka. They explored the museum, the shrine of Pori Bibi, the gardens, and much more. The tour offered young learners a fascinating glimpse into the rich history of Bangladesh.

 

This magnificent piece of architecture is one of the most popular destinations, providing students with the opportunity to roam the grounds, relax under the open sky, and escape the hustle and bustle of the megacity, all while supervised by their teachers. Later, the young enthusiasts gathered for a sumptuous lunch at a renowned restaurant.

 

It was truly a day well spent. The sixth graders enjoyed themselves thoroughly and departed for home with cherished memories.
