Bangladesh International School and College observed ‘Sheikh Russel Day’ on 18 October 2023 to mark the birthday of Sheikh Russel, the youngest son of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The program started with a special prayer, seeking eternal peace for the family members of Bangabandhu. It was followed by a discussion session on Sheikh Russel and a wonderful cultural program by the students where the performance included dance, poem, songs etc. A rally was held to mark the observation. Handwriting and essay competitions, volleyball for girls and basketball for boys were arranged too. It was indeed an exciting day for all the students.

The country will always remember Sheikh Russell with deep love and utmost compassion.
