It was indeed a proud moment for Bangladesh International School and College to hold the Annual Athletic Meet 2024 on 3rd February at BISC premise.

 

The Athletic Meet was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Major General Sheikh Mohammad Sarwar Hossain, SUP, ndc, psc, GOC and area commander, Logistics Area & Chief Patron, BISC Mohakhali. Begum Farhana Sarwar had kindly consented to be the Special Guest on the occasion.

The meet was a grand success with many events being conducted for students, parents and staff. Dumbbell show, musical display, relay race, skipping race, dress as you like show, guests events etc were the significant attraction of the Athletic Meet. There was a huge gathering at the school premises and the excitement and enthusiasm of the athletes was above edge. The athletes of four houses led by flag bearers rendered salute to the guests during their majestic march-past. Few junior events were conducted before the guests. The winners of various events received prizes from the Chief Guest who appreciated the efforts of athletes in setting the new records.

 

The Athletic Meet was declared closed by the chief guest followed by the vote of thanks from the respected Principal, BISC, Brigadier General Rafiqul Islam.

 

We believe Athletic Meet is the showcasing of hard work, perseverance, leadership, winning and sportsman spirit and the students taking part learn how to perform better to set an example. This will help them to carry responsibility with confidence throughout their lives.
