Bangladesh International School and College celebrated the 53rd Independence Day of Bangladesh on 26 March 2024 at the school premises in a befitting manner.

The celebration started with a special prayer for the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, his family and for the people of Bangladesh. The national flag was hoisted while playing the national anthem at the background. The school was decorated with multi-coloured balloons, flags and festoons. Students and teachers delivered their heartwarming speech on this special day. A special parade was also held on this occasion.

The struggle for independence was marked by many milestones, each with loss of life and immense suffering. To pay our proper dues to the independent nation we live in today as citizens, the least we can do is understand and recognise the importance of each milestone leading to our eventual victory and observe the day accordingly.
