50 years of victory day

Bangladesh has marked 50 years of victory over Pakistan on 16 December 2021.
To pay tribute to Bangladesh’s war heroes, Bangladesh International School and College arranged a grand program at BISC premises.

Students, teachers, and staff wore green and red attires matching the national flag. A cultural program was held where students and teachers performed patriotic songs. Discussions and personal experiences on liberation war were also parts of the program.
On the victory day, Bangladeshis took an oath to make the country a non-communal one. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina administered the oath to the nation to mark the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Bangladesh’s Independence Golden Jubilee celebrations.

The nationwide swearing-in program began at 4:30 pm from the Jatiya Sangsad South Plaza and ended at 4:50 pm. Members of BISC also made the pledge to build “Sonar Bangla” echoing the voice of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, joining the ceremony virtually.
We hope this historic day would hold a special place in the hearts of our students and this young generation will work together towards realizing the dreams of the people of Bangladesh.
