Bangladesh International School and College has observed Genocide Day on 25 March 2023 at BISC campus in remembrance of the brutality carried out by Pakistani Army on unarmed Bangalees on the black night of March 25 in 1971. A special munazat was offered seeking eternal peace for martyrs who were killed on March 25, 1971.

 

Freedom Fighter Maj Waqar Hassan, Bir Pratik, graced the occasion and depicted his real life experience of the war in such a way that the audience was at pin drop silence. His heroic fighting against the Pakistan Army was a major contribution to our Liberation War. We really felt proud to have him among us. The students and teachers also delivered their valuable speeches on this day. 

 

We hope the students of BISC as well as the younger generation will be inspired by the heroic act of our freedom fighters and work towards developing our country so that the sacrifices of the people during Liberation War do not go in vain.
