ARMED FORCES DAY
Armed Forces Day is observed in Bangladesh on 21st November. This signifies the day in 1971, when the members of the Bangladesh Army, Navy and Airforce were officially united and launched a joint operation against the Pakistani Occupation Forces. On 16th December, the Pakistani Army surrendered to the Allied Forces of Bangladesh and Indian Army, ending the Liberation War of Bangladesh.
Today, BISC also paid homage to the war heroes and martyrs and observed the day in a befitting manner. BISC arranged a discussion session, an Art and Essay Competition to commemorate the real heroes & freedom fighters of our Liberation War.
Finally, students were awarded for being the winners in different competitions.
