103rd birthday of our Father of the Nation
Bangladesh International School and College celebrated 103rd birthday of our Father of the Nation — our beloved Bangabandhu, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He was a great human being, the greatest Bengali; a great patriot and a remarkable fiery orator.
The celebration began with seeking prayers for our great leader. The school was decorated with colourful balloons and festoons. A wonderful cultural program was conducted on this occasion where students performed dances, songs and poems. An attraction of the program was a drama on childhood of Bangabandhu staged by the students of BISC. Teachers and students also depicted the life history of our leader through their mesmerising speech.
The heroic spirit of Bangabandhu is an unfailing source of inspiration to the youth of our country. His courage, spirit of adventure, and patriotism are an example to all. We hope our students would follow his ideologies, grow up to be leaders like him and contribute in developing a beautiful Bangladesh.
